In AMBS (the city where I'm studying at), the community is OBSESSED with this competition. Well, here actually we call the competition 'Hias Bubur Asyura' or garnishing the Asyura porridge. Asyura porridge is actually a type of porridge that is gravy, some put fish or meat as the main ingredient for the porridge.
So as you can see, what looks like the turtle with stick stabbed on its shell (yikes) is actually the bowl cover for the Bubur (made of watermelon), and others are made from vegetables and fruits being carved and sculpted by us.
To be frank, these are actually our first attempt on food garnishing so kudos to us!

Annually, second years (by classes) are assigned to hold an ISL programme for the whole college community to join for. Since that my class is the only Art-related people living here, so we were required to handle the poster of promoting this programme. The right one (literally) is designed by me.
